OC native. Reality TV enthusiast. Puppy obsessed...and I dabble in a bit of wanderlust. I am a college student at Chapman University, who happens to have a love for all things travel-related and a class requirement that allows me to write about my passions! Follow along on my journey to explore the world near and far: one huckleberry doughnut at a time.
Travel more, accomplish more
As a Southern California resident, I have learned to love where I live. In the span of a day, you can take a scenic trip up the mountains, relax at the beach, and still make it back to Orange County in time for the Disneyland fireworks. But you don't have to do everything to have fun here. While the Hollywood Sign may seem exciting, maybe a low key lunch in downtown LA is more of your style. I'll take you on adventures through my hometown, and hopefully inspire you to appreciate the simple things. It is easy to take what's right in front of you for granted.
I am a big believer in the idea that if you travel more, you accomplish more. While exploring a new city or experiencing a different culture can seem like a daunting idea, it doesn't have to be. Allowing yourself to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new (whether it be bungee jumping or simply taking a different route to work) can really improve your confidence and world view. One tiny step can lead to bigger opportunities.
